Artist Trading Blocks by Deann and a Banner by Brigette

First up is Deann with more Artist Trading Blocks.  You will be seeing these from all of team members throughout the month.  So much fun!

Good morning, Deann here with a project for Gina's Designs. I had so much fun making the beach themed
Artist Trading Blocks, I will definitely make more of these! The possibilities are endless.

You get 3 sizes of blocks in a pack, they are so easy to put together, I painted both sides of the blocks with gesso before putting them together. The light house is from the Beach Shape Set

I made a base out of chipboard and covered it with burlap. I then painted 4 mini wood spools white and glued to the bottom of the block then attached the block to the base.

I glued the medium and small blocks together, left the top block open and added mini spools to the bottom block. I then attached the blocks to the base. The sea horse is from the Sea Horse Shape Set . I covered it with 3 shades of blue glitter.

The paper cut outs are from K&Company-Travel Die cuts.

I put a glob of hot glue on the base and covered the glue with seed beads, which made it look a bit like sea glass.

Next up is Brigette, another of our talented new members, with a gorgeous banner to share!

Hello crafty friends! I am here to share with you a project I created for my new spot on Gina's Designs creative team! Gina's shop is full of beautiful, versatile laser cut chip pieces for any occasion you can think possible! All the seasons are covered, the styles from shabby to steampunk shapes are offered as well as organizational pieces you can easily put together and so much more!

Today I altered these large pennants to create a banner for an art room or crafty space. I used bordersflourishes, phrases, and of course the fishtail banner pieces in this kit! The chipboard takes so well to simple spraying without prep work and they work well with embossing too.

Simple embellishments like die cut flowers and dangling trims finish off the banner.
Gina's designs really shine with simple embellishing and enhance further a project embellished to the nines :)
Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate the support!
